In love and tying the knot soon? Allow me a suggestion...

I'm Yours -- the perfect modern-day wedding playlist was released recently by Warner Music and it contains 15 must-hear songs (& I can't stress this enough: couples, you MUST listen to this CD) from 15 brilliant international artists. It's packed with melodies to perfectly accompany your audio-visual presentations. It also sounds perfect when played in between sets performed by your reception's live musicians.
~
Check out the playlist and find songs to accompany your first dance with your last love...Trust me when I say that a beautiful wedding shouldn't be without this beautiful CD.

The song selections in this album include: Jason Mraz's "I'm Yours", Craig David's "Officially Yours", The Corrs' "Runaway", Eric Benet's "The Last Time", Renee Olstead's "A Love That Will Last", Edwin McCain's "I'll Be", Corrine May's "On The Side Of Me", Ryan Cabrera's "True", Daniel Powter's "Love You Lately", Regina Spektor's "Fidelity", Laura Izibor's "From My Heart To Yours", Aqualung's "Brighter Than Sunshine", Melee's "Built To Last", James Morrison's "You Give Me Something", and Michelle Tume's "Lovely"

It's an addictive find. Boys, you can gift a loved one with this CD along with the engagement ring meant for her! Now there's an idea I might suggest to my buddies who plan to pop the question soon ;)

Stay in love, friends, and remember-- a stylishly sweet soundtrack is now available for you in one stylishly sweet CD.

Insomniac in action

It's 2:30 in the morning~ I'm still up watching the Discovery Channel and surfing the web for ways to earn online heheh... Came across a site called mylot.com. Looks interesting but I've yet to find out if it would be worth the energy. Publishing this post to supposedly "claim" my blog (mylot requirement). I'll write about how this venture goes soon enough.

Cheerios, amigos.

Independence Day

>> Sunday, June 14

(lifted from Wikipedia)
The Philippine Declaration of Independence happened on June 12, 1898
in Cavite el Viejo (now Kawit). With the public reading of the Act of the Declaration of Independence, Filipino revolutionary forces under General Emilio Aguinaldo proclaimed the sovereignty and independence of the Philippine Islands from the colonial rule of Spain, which had been recently defeated at the Battle of Manila Bay during the Spanish-American war.
The declaration, however, was not recognized by the United States or Spain. The Spanish government later ceded the Philippines to the United States in the 1898 Treaty of Paris
that ended the Spanish-American War.
The United States recognized Philippine independence on July 4, 1946 in the Treaty of Manila,
July 4 was observed in the Philippines as Independence Day until August 4, 1964 when, upon the advice of historians and the urging of nationalists, President Diosdado Macapagal signed into law Republic Act No. 4166 designating June 12 as the country's Independence Day. June 12 had previously been observed as Flag Day.
Love your country. Know your history.

Isukoshi!

Isukoshi iComfort
The latest addition to our bedroom is now the only
blue object among loud whites, blacks and browns.
It's our favorite appliance, nonetheless.

Here's something you mall addicts might be familiar with -- The massage chair.

Wellness-focused malls often have these chairs in lounge spots strategically located throughout their premises, and for good reason. Consumers like us tend to spend hours in shopping districts walking our feet, legs and backs into exaggerated exhaustion, that retail therapy no longer becomes therapeutic.
~
Enter Isukoshi's iComfort, our favorite instant therapist.
~
It was during the holidays several years ago that we discovered this phenomenon, then made popular by the name Osim. After a whole day of Christmas shopping and a couple of very sore backs later, my husband and I decided to try out the Osim massage chairs inside this posh department store. Miracle of all miracles, the pain on our backs, legs and feet disappeared after just 20 minutes of sitting on the chairs! Needless to say, I developed an obsession with Osim and not-so-silently hoped to get one for our home in the near future. That episode happened about three years ago.
Three years and many mall chair massages later, the "near future" arrived for us. As luck would have it, the technology of the massage chair found its way to a brand that distributed the chairs at prices friendlier than that tagged by the very high end Osim. Luck came by the name Isukoshi.
Isukoshi chairs flaunt the same features as the renowned Osim, the only difference is that they are more reasonably priced. So if you and other members of your household are often stressed and you've been looking to purchase your very own massage chair, consider Isukoshi. It's brilliant on the back of anybody human. Plus, it covers all massage techniques in different strengths: kneading, finger pressure, long strokes, & refloxology... a perfect way to end a hectic day at work...or a maddening day of shopping. ;-)
